How do I tell which fabric suits me?

By touch: the finer the yarn, the softer the feel; 100% cotton feels cool, linen is rougher with a raised pattern. Pull the fabric with both hands — a good weave holds together and its threads do not part.

How much fabric do I need for a Saudi thobe?

It depends on the fabric width: 58 inches needs 3.25 m (3.57 yd); 44, 42 or 38 inches needs 4.5 m (5 yd).

How do I care for the fabric after tailoring?

Polyester and filament: wash below 30°C and iron up to 110°C. Cotton and linen: wash below 40°C and iron between 110 and 140°C. In both cases: no bleach, no tumble dryer, dry in the shade.
